Mistaya, “The princess of Landover,” is one of the most fun cats I have ever watched let alone owned. I call her “The Imp” because she is always testing the limits, getting into things, and making a toy out of anything. She literally flies off the walls as she runs down the hallway, jumping three feet up the wall, then doing a ½ gainer pushing off the wall so she can run off in the other direction. Whatever she sees another cat doing she has to try, never mind that the other cat is twice her size and age she can still jump 6 feet and then walk across the valence of the blinds.
Everyone that sees Mistaya wants to take her home. She will immediately go to a complete stranger and demand their attention. She will get on the chair with them, smell their breath, or walk across their shoulders while the guest is setting but Mistaya will be seen and played with.
If the other cats jump, she jumps higher. If the other cats run fast, she runs faster. If the other cats eat, she eats more. I’ve never had a more fun and more frustrating cat all bundled into one. I’m so grateful that Michell Lee of Purrbodies made her available to us.
